In a time when construction projects are becoming increasingly complex, expert support is essential. And not just on-site – especially during design and preparation phases. NoviCAD specialises in remote CAD and BIM modelling for architects, engineers and contractors. Since 2020, we have supported projects across Europe from our office in Serbia. We are based in Novi Sad, Serbia’s second-largest city with over 400,000 residents, located on the Danube River. The river’s strategic importance inspired our logo. Novi Sad is a vibrant city, rich in culture, hospitality and history – and just a 45-minute drive from Belgrade International Airport.
For nearly 10 years, Serbia has been in the spotlight in the ICT sector as a location for remote services, and Novi Sad is therefore home to a large number of companies where thousands of IT specialists provide services to customers in Western Europe. Compared to Belgrade, Novi Sad has the advantage that the real estate market is less strained, which works out more favourably for both employees and the office and makes it easier to find suitable colleagues.
With NoviCAD, we have a young and diverse team of architects and BIM modellers who are in daily contact with our clients. This makes us close, with a good sense of Dutch culture, while also benefiting from the advantages of being based just outside the EU.
Our team is diverse: two-thirds of our colleagues are women and staff turnover is very low.
Almost all of our colleagues graduated from the local technical university and live in the city or surrounding area. This creates a close-knit team that is rooted in local networks. Because although NoviCAD mainly focuses on the Dutch and German markets, we are also active locally in organisations such as the Chamber of Commerce and BIM knowledge platforms.
